Coder Dojo
One of our TCAT partner schools, Beamont Collegiate Academy, runs Coder Dojo – a volunteer led community of free local programming clubs for young people. At a Dojo, young people between 7 and 17 learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and explore technology using MIT Scratch, HTML, Javascript, Python and more!
BCA runs one of the largest Coder Dojo’s in the UK. This event runs on a Saturday and encompasses all aspects of STEM and New Technology. This event is open to the community and is regularly attended by around 100 children (7-17) and their parents, including families from Meadowside.
Coder Dojo at BCA is a stones throw from Meadowside and a fatntastic way to spend a few hours on a Saturday.
