Young Carers at Meadowside
Does your child carry out caring duties? If so they could be a Young Carer here at Meadowside CP School.
We support Young Carers in school and also work very closely with the Young Carers Team at Warrington Carers Hub.
Meadowside is lucky to have 3 Young Carer Champions, Mrs Stokes, Mrs Gahgan and Miss Churton, who are available in school, so any Young Carer that needs to share any worries, concerns or happy news can do so at our drop ins sessions.
We also hold half termly Young Carer Get Togethers – this is a great chance to meet with other children who carry out caring roles, and we have fun being creative, sharing activities and even have hot chocolate!
