Welcome to our class web page. This is the place to come to discover what is going on in Willow Class. We will be regularly posting updates on our Twitter page so you can view our amazing work, exciting learning adventures and the fun that we are having in class! Useful Information

• Homework will be once again accessed via Class Dojo. It will be uploaded every Friday and needs to be submitted by the following Wednesday at the latest. A homework book will be issued for those who wish to complete it on paper and then upload a photograph. If there are any problems with homework, speak to any of our Year 5 team who will be happy to help.

• P.E. will be every Wednesday and at the moment all PE will be inside. Make sure your child has the correct P.E. kit (white t-shirt, black shorts/ jogging bottoms/ leggings and pumps or trainers). 

• Your child needs their reading book in school every day! Reading at home is one of the most important things you can do to support your child with their learning. We are happy for the children to read a range of genres: fiction, non fiction, newspapers and for them to record their own reading. 

• TT Rock Stars is an online learning platform that the children enjoy using to make progress in their learning. Please encourage your children to use this at home to complement the work that they are doing in school. This website is a great way to make learning more fun!

• Your child should know all of their times tables by the time they get to year 5! Keep practising at home to make sure they don't forget.

We are always available at the end of the day or are on the end of a phone if you need us! We look forward to seeing the amazing steps that all the children will take as we continue through the year.
