Mrs Holt

Daisies Nursery Lead Practitioner (2YO)

In our exciting provision for 2 year olds, there are two Early educators in this room called Miss Holt and Miss Walker. There is a positive ratio of one adult to four children. This allows excellent relationships to be developed between staff and children.

The Nursery is divided into learning areas where children undertake different activities.  E.g. The following areas:  reading, construction, quiet, creative, ICT, investigation, writing, malleable, water, sand and a home corner role play .   Children can learn independently or follow an adult led activity.  The children will be able to develop their learning indoors or outdoors. Resources have been carefully designed to be accessible, allowing children to choose the ones they need and return them after use.

The day is split into two sessions and has the following activities:

Morning session

All of the following activities do not have a set time, as they are determined by what the children are engaged in.

Snack time as a group

Tidy up time
