Meadowside receives Flagship School award!

We are a Flagship School!

We began our journey with Inclusion Quality Mark in 2017 when we were awarded our first Inclusion Mark. We were then swiftly awarded with the status of 'Centre of Excellence' and we have continued to be reassessed by IQM every year since, providing that external scrutiny, challenge and validation of the standard of care and education we provide for our children.

The report of our latest assessment in the summer of 2020 has now been published - We are no longer a 'Centre of Excellence' school as we have now been given the highest award possible... we are a FLAGSHIP SCHOOL! Only around 100 UK schools have achieved IQM Flagship School status and so we are incredibly proud of what this says about the education and care our school provides. Here is an extract from the report, "It was clear from this review that the school have continued to move forward with their high aspirations for all children and their commitment to move forward as a Flagship School is evident. I have no doubt that the school will be successful due to their whole school atmosphere of inclusion and aspiration for all within a warm family environment that reaches out to the community too."
